Students will gain a working knowledge of how 3D printers operate, how to prepare files for printing, and how to maintain the hardware. ●What You Will Learn: ●The Technology: Understanding how 3D printers work (axes, extruders, and build plates). ●Slicing Software: How to use slicer software (like Bambu Studio or OrcaSlicer) to prepare digital models. ●Material Basics: The differences between common filaments like PLA and PETG. ●Operation: How to load filament, level the bed (if applicable), and start a print. ●Troubleshooting: Identifying and fixing common errors like layer shifts or adhesion issues. ●Get Hands-On with 3D Printing ● Goal: Enable users to safely operate the printer and slice a basic file using Bambu Studio or Creality. ●Age Requirement: Is this for kids (8+), teens, or adults only ●Prerequisites: None.
